Naam Pirandha Mann is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language vigilante action film directed by A. Vincent and written by Rajasekhar.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role as Santhana Thevar, alongside Gemini Ganesan, Nagesh, Kamal Haasan, K. R. Vijaya, and Fatafat Jayalaxmi.
Set during the British Raj, the story follows Vettaikara Thevar, a wealthy landlord who secretly operates as Santhana Thevar, the masked leader of a vigilante group.
The film revolves around his delinquent son, portrayed by Kamal Haasan, whom he clashes with due to differing ideologies.
Released on 7 October 1977, Naam Pirandha Mann was the career debut of Rajasekhar, who wrote the story. The film did not perform well at the box office, but its story became the basis for the 1996 film Indian, featuring Haasan as both father and son.
