Synopsis
Naalai is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language gangster action film directed by Udhayabhanu Maheswaran and produced by Nallamuthu.
The film stars Richard Rishi, Natty Subramaniam, Madhumitha, and Nassar. The music was composed by Karthik Raja.
The story follows Justin (Richard Rishi) as he gets released from jail while his friend Natty (Natarajan Subramaniam) is waiting for him. They work as henchmen to Nair (Nassar), but a sequence of events leads to Nair developing mistrust and hatred towards them.
Justin ends up in prison, and Nattu loses his leg thanks to Nair's plans. After three years, Justin decides to leave the violent life behind and lead a peaceful one with his wife Charu (Madhumitha). However, their happiness is short-lived as Nair's henchmen attempt to kill Justin again, leading to tragic consequences.
The film ends with a dramatic climax where Justin sacrifices himself to protect his loved ones. Naalai was released on June 16, 2006.
