Synopsis
Muthirai is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by actor Srinath and starring Daniel Balaji, Nithin Sathya, Lakshmi Rai, and newcomer Manjari Phadnis.
The film was launched in May 2008 and released on June 19, 2009. It features Kishore and Ponvannan in important supporting roles, with a special appearance by Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant.
The movie's plot revolves around the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, where politician Azhagar Adhiyaman's party wins, leading to a power struggle among its leaders. The story also follows petty thieves Sathya and his accomplice Azhagu as they navigate their successful but illicit lifestyle.
