Moondru Mudichu is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed and co-written by K. Balachander.
The movie stars Kamal Haasan, Sridevi, and Rajinikanth in leading roles. It serves as a remake of the Telugu film O Seeta Katha (1973) directed by K. Viswanath.
The plot revolves around three people: an 18-year-old college girl named Selvi, and two men who fall in love with her - Balaji (Kamal Haasan) and Prasath (Rajinikanth). Prasath pretends to support Balaji's love for Selvi while secretly harboring his own intentions.
Despite Selvi discovering Prasath's deceit, she is unable to convince Balaji of her true feelings. The film explores themes of love, deception, and the complexities of relationships.
