Moonravathu Kann is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language thriller film written and directed by Manivannan.
The story is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, and stars R. Sarathkumar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Raja, and Monisha in leading roles, alongside Mansoor Ali Khan, Vinu Chakravarthy, Srividya, Yuvasri, and Ganeshkar in supporting roles.
The film features music by Deva, cinematography by S. Sankar, and editing by P. Venkateswara Rao.
Released on 18 September 1993, the movie became a success.
The plot revolves around Priya, a rich woman who falls in love with a poor man Sundar, but her parents lock her in her bedroom after she tries to elope. That night, Priya witnesses the murder of Shanthi by her husband Sabapathy from her bedroom window and takes photos of the crime.
