Minnale

Minnale is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language musical romance film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon in his directoral debut.

The story revolves around Rajesh (Madhavan), a college hoodlum who impersonates his former college foe, Rajiv, to pursue his lady love, Reena Joseph (Reema Sen). With the help of his grandfather (Nagesh) and crooked sidekick (Vivek), Rajesh gets close to Reena. However, when the real Rajiv shows up, it brings a shocking end to Reena's romantic interlude.

The film features an original soundtrack composed by debutant music composer Harris Jayaraj, with cinematography handled by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing by Suresh Urs. Reema Sen made her Tamil debut through this film.
