Synopsis
Menaka is a 1955 Indian Tamil-language film directed by V. C. Subburaman, serving as a remake of the earlier 1935 film of the same name.
The story revolves around a loving couple who are separated by malicious intent but ultimately reunite after enduring significant hardships and suffering.
The film stars K. R. Ramasamy and Lalitha, and was released on January 5, 1955.
It is the second edition of the same story by Vaduvur Duraisami Iyengar that he first published as a novel, previously staged as a successful play by TKS Brothers in 1935.
