Synopsis
Meiporul, also known as The True Meaning, is a 2009 Indian-American Tamil language thriller film directed by Natty Kumar and Krish Bala.
The film stars Krish Bala and Anusha, with supporting roles played by Natty Kumar, Narayan Sundararajan, Rani Jayakumar, Lee Kuhn, Christopher Martin Bauer, Suren Vijaykumar, and Ritu Bhargava.
Produced theatrically on May 1, 2009, the film won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize.
The movie tells the story of an Indian couple whose babysitter, Lisa, kills them and takes their daughter. Devi, the daughter, notices Lisa's suspicious behavior and alerts the police, leading to her arrest.
