Synopsis
Mazhaikkalam is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Deepan.
The film stars Sanjeevan as Vijay and Saranya Nag as Sophia, a college student who captures Vijay's heart. Vijay lives with his doting brother (Krishnakumar) and sister-in-law (Jaya Sri), who treats him like her son.
Debutante Sanjeevan plays the lead role of Vijay, alongside Saranya Nag as Sophia. The film also features Ganja Karuppu, Krishna Kumar, Vel Chinnaswamy, and Winner Ramachandran in supporting roles.
The production began in 2010, with Deepan at the helm. Despite some controversy surrounding a reported nude scene, the film was released to mixed reviews from critics.
