Synopsis
Marmayogi is a 1951 Indian Tamil-language swashbuckler film directed by K. Ramnoth and produced by M. Somasundaram.
The film serves as an adaptation of Marie Corelli's novel Vengeance and William Shakespeare's play Macbeth, combining elements from these sources into its narrative.
It features the lead actors M.G.R., Anjali Devi, and newcomer Madhuri Devi in her first major film role. The supporting cast includes S.V.Sahasranamam, Serukalathur Sama (playing the title role), N.Seetharaman, S.A.Natarajan, M.N.Nambiar, and M.Pandari Bai.
