Mappillai is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Rajasekhar and produced by Geetha Arts.

It is a remake of the 1989 Telugu film Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, with Chiranjeevi making a special appearance in this Tamil version.
The main storyline involves Arumugam, who gatecrashes a marriage to abduct the bride but later reveals he saved her from an arranged forced marriage. He also has a gold-medalist background and is shown to have a good heart.
