Eshwar, the son of R. Sundarrajan and Vadivukkarasi, has a naturally helpful personality and falls in love with his friend's sister Kavitha after helping his friend resolve a problem with his fiancée.
An astrologer predicts that Eshwar is going to kill someone in 45 days, leading him to postpone his marriage. However, numerous incidents take place at his estate in Coonoor – Ooty, including Sinthamani, a mentally retarded individual, taking asylum and a local thug Kabali trying to molest him.
Eshwar chases Kabali away, and later, the situation is resolved. The film follows Eshwar's adventures and relationships as he navigates his life in Ooty.
