Synopsis
Manidhan Marivittan is a 1989 Tamil-language mystery psychological thriller film directed by Mohan. The movie stars Jayaram and Mukesh in lead roles alongside Shobana, Parvathy Jayaram, and Madhu.
The plot revolves around K. Vishwanathan Pillai, an innocent young man from Alappuzha who is mistaken for Uthaman, a dangerous criminal. Following this mistaken identity during his job interview recess, he faces significant trouble when arrested by the police. Fortunately, George Kutty, the police inspector and Pillai's classmate, intervenes to secure his release.
The narrative then focuses on explaining the crimes committed by Uthaman, who remains at large. The film explores themes of mistaken identity, confusion, and the consequences that follow.
