Manamagale Vaa is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Panchu Arunachalam and written by him as well. The stars of the film are Prabhu and Radhika.
The film follows Balu, an unmarried man seeking the ideal wife, who rejects many potential partners. Meanwhile, Chitra attempts to resolve her sister Geetha's difficult marriage with her in-laws by arranging for Geetha's brother-in-law (Balu) to marry Chitra, disguised as a village belle named Rajathi.
After their marriage, Balu is initially upset by Rajathi's lack of sophistication but finds himself falling in love. The story continues with Rajathi pursuing her own interests while married to Balu. A suitor from the village hatches a plan to bring Rajathi back from her husband and marry her forcibly.
Balu decides to divorce Rajathi, while Chitra plans to unveil her mask now. Will her plan succeed or boomerang?
