Synopsis
Malathi is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language drama film written, produced and directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan.
The film stars Gemini Ganesan, B. Saroja Devi, and Ravichandran in lead roles.
The plot follows Malathi, a young woman from a wealthy family pursuing MBBS, who falls in love with Balu during her studies. Due to circumstances surrounding her family, she ends up marrying Rajan instead. The film centers on Malathi's attempts to reform Rajan, whose lifestyle involves drinking and drugs.
