Synopsis
Malaikottai is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Boopathy Pandian.
The film stars Vishal, Priyamani, Devaraj, Ajay, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Urvashi in key roles.
Mani Sharma composed the music for the film, while Vaidy S handled the cinematography and G. Sasikumar edited it.
The story follows Anbu, an engineering student who gets into a fracas with a local politician and his henchmen, leading to his arrest and conditional bail.
On the way to sign the register at Trichy Fort police station, Anbu meets a college girl named Malar and falls in love with her.
The film was released on 28 September 2007 and became a commercial success.
