Synopsis
Maharaja is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Manoharan and produced by J. Ravi.
The film stars Nassar, Sathya, and Anjali, with music composed by D. Imman.
Written by Manoharan, the movie tells the story of Mahadevan, a middle-aged government employee who feels trapped in his monotonous lifestyle. He longs to live a modern life, but everything falls apart when he chooses to change his way of living.
Mahadevan's life is contrasted with that of Aravind, an American who has adopted a modern lifestyle and works in a software company in Chennai. The two men meet, and Mahadevan learns that Aravind is his nephew.
