Synopsis
Madurai Sambavam is a 2009 Tamil action film directed by Youreka in his directorial debut.
The film stars Harikumar, Anuya Bhagvath, and Karthika, with Radha Ravi, Kadhal Dhandapani, and Raj Kapoor playing supporting roles.
The movie is set in Aattuthotti in Madurai, where the main character Aalamaram (also known as Aalamarathaar) is respected by everyone for his efforts to do good for the community despite being feared by his enemies.
Aalamaram is assisted by his son Kutty and son-in-law, with Kutty falling in love with a female cop named Caroline Thomas. However, it is revealed that Caroline uses Kutty just to shoot him.
The film follows a sequence of events leading to an interesting climax.
Madurai Sambavam was released on 4 September 2009.
The music was composed by John Peter, cinematography was done by M. Sukumar, and editing was handled by P. Sai Suresh.
