
Madrasapattinam is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language historical romantic drama film written and directed by A. L. Vijay.
The film stars Arya with Amy Jackson in her feature film debut, alongside Carole Trangmar-Palmer as an older version of the lead character, Amy Wilkinson.
The movie follows Amy's journey to Madrasapattinam, India, where she reunites with a young Indian boy named Paritihi (Nassar), and develops a romance with him. However, their love is threatened by Amy's arranged marriage to officer Robert Ellis.
Directed by A. L. Vijay, the film features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, editing by Anthony, and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
The movie was released on 9 July 2010 and became a box office success.
