Synopsis
Madhurey is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Ramana Madhesh.
The film stars Vijay in the main lead role alongside Sonia Agarwal and Rakshita, with Vadivelu, Pasupathy, Seetha, and Tejashree playing supporting roles.
Madhuravel works as a vegetable vendor and is a do-gooder who protects the family of Kamatchi and her two daughters. He fights loan sharks and "bad guys" in the market, while Anitha tries to win him over from Maheshwari.
The film follows Madurey's life until he is shot by Kamakshi after discovering his connection to her daughter Susheela in a newspaper.
Madhurey was released on 29 August 2004.
