Synopsis
Machakaaran is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written and directed by Tamilvannan.
The film stars Jeevan and Kamna Jethmalani in lead roles, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the score and soundtrack.
Released on November 8, 2007, during Diwali, the movie follows Vicky, a perpetual loser who falls madly in love with Shivani, the daughter of a rich textile tycoon.
The couple decides to elope, but their plans are foiled by Shivani's cop brother. They seek refuge in Rajangam's village in Theni, where he is revered as "Mr. Nice Guy" and given the honour of conducting the temple Thiruvizha every year.
