Maayavi

Maayavi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language black comedy film directed by Singampuli.

The film stars Suriya and Jyothika, with Vijayakanth making a cameo appearance.

The plot is loosely based on the novel "The Fan Club" by Irving Wallace.

Abhes Balayya (Suriya), a guide conman thief, kidnaps actress Jyotika's house after mistakenly taking it. Jyotika does not like Balayya and he takes revenge by kidnapping her. The film follows the events that unfold as Jyotika's family and the industry try to trace her.

The score and soundtrack of the film were composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
