Kurukshetram is a 2006 Indian Tamil language film directed by Jayabharathi and starring Sathyaraj, Roja, Vadivelu, and K. M. Rajendra.
The music for this film was scored by Isaac Thomas Kottukapally, and the cinematography and editing were done by A. Karuppaya and Suresh Urs respectively.
Produced under the banner Rajendra Movies, Kurukshetram is Sathyaraj's 170th film.
The story follows Bharath (Sathyaraj) and his family as they face challenges after their daughter Sindu dies in a bomb blast. The family relocates to Chennai, but Bharath's friend Jack (K. M. Rajendra) continues to cause trouble for them through blackmailing.
Notable for its comedy sequences, including Vadivelu's instructions on how to make uttapam, Kurukshetram was released on August 11, 2006.
