Kunguma Chimizh (Saffron Kit) is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by R. Sundarrajan.
The story revolves around two orphaned protagonists, Ravi and Philomena, who meet during a bus journey to Chennai. Ravi becomes a rickshaw driver after struggling to find employment, while Philomena flees her foster father due to his fraudulent activities as a Catholic nurse.
Despite their initial bond, both face significant challenges: homelessness and poverty. Strained by these difficulties, Philomena temporarily leaves Ravi to allow him to improve his situation. During this time, Ravi stumbles upon money belonging to Manikkam and uses it to secure a job as a forest supervisor.
The film stars Mohan, Ilavarasi, Revathi, and Chandrasekhar in its cast. It was released on 23 August 1985.
