Kumari Pennin Ulathile is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. Kishore.
The film stars Chandrahassan Jayaprakash as Kannan, a young man who falls in love with his college collegemate Priya (Sippy), an orphan and housemaid. Paramasivam (also played by Chandrahassan Jayaprakash), a corrupt police officer, becomes obsessed with Priya after she escapes his attempts to rape her.
The story takes a dark turn as Kannan seeks revenge against Paramasivam, who ultimately meets a violent end at the hands of Priya. The film follows Kannan's journey as he reunites with Priya in a remote location and navigates their tumultuous relationship.
Supporting cast includes Nassar and Seetha as an old couple who take in Kannan and Priya, while Ajay Rathnam plays Kannan's stepfather Karthikeyan. Meera Vasudevan portrays Sumithra, Paramasivam's wife.
The film begins with an unconscious and wounded Kannan at the Suryalanka Beach being saved by a young woman. In the past, Kannan was a twelfth grade student who fell in love with Priya, an orphan and housemaid. Paramasivam, a corrupt police officer, becomes obsessed with Priya after she escapes his attempts to rape her.
Paramasivam's henchmen then attack Kannan and the lovers get separated. Back to the present, Kannan finally finds Priya in a remote place. Without a place to stay and without money, they are accommodated by an old couple who had lost their only daughter many years ago.
Meanwhile, an enraged Paramasivam, who had lost sight in his left eye, tracks them down in a remote forest. Paramasivam pushes Kannan off a cliff and he forcefully rapes Priya. A vengeful Priya then plucks out Paramasivam's right eye thus killing him. Kannan who survived the fall returns to his lover.
