Kumari is an Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. Padmanaban, released in 1952.
The story revolves around Princess Kumari who meets Vijayan in an accident while travelling and subsequently falls in love with him. Kumari gives Vijayan a signet ring and invites him to her palace, but their relationship faces complications when the king wants to marry his daughter off, leading to conflict as the queen insists Kumari should wed her incompetent brother, Sahaaran.
