Kudisai (The Hut) is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Jayabharathi in his directorial debut.
The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Jayabharathi's father D. Ramamoorthy for the magazine Kanayazhi.
It was released on 30 March 1979 and marked a unique production milestone as it was the first Tamil film made through crowdfunding, with Jayabharathi raising ₹90,000 to fund distribution and generate investment.
The cast includes Jayabharathi, Rajasekhar, Ceylon Manohar, and Robert–Rajasekar, who made his cinematography debut with this film.
