Synopsis
Kudaikul Mazhai is a 2004 Tamil-language drama film written, directed and produced by Parthiban. He also stars in the lead role alongside Madhumitha, while Sriman portrayed a supporting role.
The film follows Venkat (Parthiban), who finds himself in a spot when a young woman named Madhumita (Madhumitha) follows him everywhere and declares her love for him. Despite his initial reluctance, he eventually yields to the temptation, but soon discovers that it has been a charade all along.
The film was originally titled Nee + Naan, but Parthiban chose to rename it Kudaikul Mazhai (transl. Rain in an umbrella). It released in September 2004 and was a box office bomb.
Other cast members include Sriman and Deepa Venkat.
