Synopsis
Kollaikaran is a 2012 Tamil-language film directed by Tamil Selvan.
The film stars Vidharth, Sanchita Shetty, and P. Ravi Shankar in key roles.
The movie is a remake of the Malayalam film Meesa Madhavan.
Kuruvi (Vidharth), a man who commits small crimes, falls in love with Krishnaveni (Sanchita Shetty) despite her initial rejection. After being falsely accused and going to jail, Kuruvi eventually kills the real jewel thief and returns to the temple where his life takes an unexpected turn.
The film features music composed by Johan Shevanesh and editing by LVK Doss.
Kollaikaran was released on 13 January 2012.
