Synopsis
Kokkarakko is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language film directed and co-written by Gangai Amaran. The film stars Mahesh and Ilavarasi.
The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with notable songs set to the raga Mohanam ("Geetham Sangeetham") and Mayamalavagowla ("Kanpuram Devi").
Ilavarasi made her debut in a leading role, while Smitha also received praise for her acting. The film was released on 16 September 1983.
Gangai Amaran's sophomore directorial venture followed his previous film Kozhi Koovuthu (1982).
