Synopsis
Kodaikkanal is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Sasikumar.
The film stars Jai, Swathi, Samuthirakani, Ganja Karuppu, and Sasikumar in pivotal roles.
The story takes place in the Subramaniapuram area of Madurai city. A convict is released from prison after serving 28 years, and an unknown person stabs him. The film follows the lives of two orphans, Surya (Ashwanth Thilak) and Nandha (Sekar), who are petty thieves in Chennai.
The film was shot in just 85 days and became a commercial success despite its low budget. It received critical acclaim for its original script, direction, screenplay, editing, fresh music, accurate sets, and costumes that resurrected Madurai from the 1980s.
