Kilinjalgal is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Durai and starring Mohan, Poornima Bhagyaraj, and Dilip.
The story revolves around Babu, a Hindu man who falls in love with Julie, a Christian woman. Their families strongly oppose their relationship due to their differing religious backgrounds. Despite this intense opposition, Babu and Julie remain determined to be together. However, their love ultimately leads to tragedy when Julie takes her own life.
Following news of her death, Babu rushes to the crematorium where he dies upon seeing Julie's body being prepared for cremation. The film was released on December 25, 1981, and ran for 175 days at the box office, becoming a silver jubilee hit.
The music was composed by T. Rajendar, who also directed the Hindi remake of the film, titled Do Gulab.
