Ketti Melam

Ketti Melam is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Visu and starring Karthik and Sulakshana in the lead roles.

The film follows Uma, who returns to Rose Island after eight years of education in London, seeking her wealthy uncle, Chinna Sethupathi. However, a suspicious driver named Vasu identifies her as an impostor due to the absence of a distinctive burn scar on her back shoulder that the real Uma possesses.

As the deception unfolds, it is revealed that Chinna Sethupathi is a womanizer who has locked away his elder brother, Periya Sethupathi, in a slum under Marappa Dev. To maintain their false narrative, Chinna Sethupathi and his accomplice Kabali murder Vasu's father, Ramaiyya.

The film was released on 11 October 1985 and failed commercially.
