Kasturi Thilakam is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by Malliyam Rajagopal, based on the play Aalamaram by Bilahari.
The movie stars Sowcar Janaki, Major Sundarrajan, Nagesh, and Pannaiyar. The story revolves around Pannaiyar arranging his sister Kasturi's marriage to Minor Mohanasundaram, with whom they have three children: Somu, Balu, and Thangam.
The family faces disrepute due to Minor's gambling addiction and Somu's laziness. Meanwhile, Balu excels academically and secures a job in the city while developing feelings for his cousin Thilagam. Pannaiyar approves of Balu and Thilagam's relationship but is disappointed by his sister's family situation.
He takes on their financial burdens, arranging for the marriages of Somu and Thangam, as well as supporting his sister's family through difficult times.
The film was released on 8 August 1970.
