Kannithai

Kannithai is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language action adventure film directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar.

The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, K. R. Vijaya, and Jayalalithaa in a story that involves Captain Saravanan promising to care for his six-year-old daughter Rani after her father's death. On their journey across India, they encounter an evil group led by poachers.

Along the way, they meet Sarasu, a young woman without family ties who becomes protective and affectionate towards Rani, treating her like a mother figure.
