Synopsis
Kanneer Pookkal is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Rajasekhar and written by him as well. The main stars of the film are Vijayan and Sripriya, with supporting roles played by Anand, Anumanthu, Vijay Babu, Manorama, Pandari Bai, Rohini, and Roopa.
The film is an adaptation of Sivasankari's novel Aayul Thandanai (Life sentence) and shares its name with a novel by Mu. Metha. Cinematography was handled by V. Ranga, and editing by M. Vellaichamy. The music score was created by Shankar–Ganesh.
