
Kangalal Kaidhu Sei is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed by Bharathiraja.
The film stars Vaseegaran and marks Priyamani's debut in Tamil cinema, alongside Sanath Gunathilake in his only Tamil film appearance.
John Vaseegaran, the protagonist, is a young man who ranks as the 5th richest man in India and 30th in the world. His major rival is Pratap, who was earlier a rival to Vasee's parents.
The plot revolves around Vasee's quest to find the love of his dreams in a young woman tasked with retrieving a stolen diamond from him.
The film features cinematography by B. Kannan, editing by K. Pazhanivel, and music scored by A. R. Rahman, marking his fifth and final collaboration with Bharathiraja.
Kangalal Kaidhu Sei was released on 20 February 2004 and became a box office success.
