Synopsis
Kandaen is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Mugil and produced by TCS.
The film stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Rashmi Gautam in lead roles, along with Santhanam, Vijayakumar, and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.
Vasanth, an engineer from Chennai, is forced to get married within 30 days by his grandfather. To escape the arranged marriage, Vasanth pretends to be blind and falls in love with Narmada, a pretty girl he meets at first sight.
The film was launched in May 2010 and its soundtrack was released on Gautham Vasudev Menon's newly launched audio label as its first release. It was released on 20 May 2011.
