Synopsis
Kallazhagar is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Bharathi.
The film stars Vijayakanth and Laila, with Nassar, Sonu Sood, and Manivannan in supporting roles. Deva composed the score and soundtrack for the movie.
Released on February 6, 1999, Kallazhagar tells the story of Andal, a young girl who is enamored with Lord Kallazhagar from a tender age. She desires to marry him, but her aspirations are ridiculed by the villagers. However, she finds support from her friend Gowri and becomes smitten with Kamalakannan, a mahout who brings an elephant to the temple.
