Kalavathi is a 1951 Indian Tamil-language fantasy comedy film directed and written by L. S. Ramachandran.
The plot revolves around the goddesses Saraswati (goddess of knowledge) and Lakshmi (goddess of wealth), who engage in an argument over their respective superiority, ultimately using an illiterate farmer to determine a resolution.
T. S. Durairaj stars as the farmer, with T. A. Jayalakshmi playing the princess and E. R. Sahadevan portraying the minister.
