
Kalai Arasi is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language science fiction film directed by A. Kasilingam. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran and Bhanumathi, with M. N. Nambiar, P. S. Veerappa, Rajasree, and Sachu.
A spacecraft carrying two aliens who resemble earthly humans lands on Earth. One of the aliens, Nambiyar, kidnaps Banumathi, a vocalist and dancer, to teach songs and dance to the inhabitants of his planet. MGR's character, Mohan, is Banumathi's lover and becomes embroiled in her disappearance.
Mohan escapes from prison and encounters Nambiyar's assistant on Earth, leading to a confrontation that ultimately results in the assistant's death. Nambiyar then brings the assistant's body to MGR, who hides inside the spacecraft. The film follows MGR's journey as he saves Banumathi and returns her to Earth.
