Synopsis
Kai is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romantic action drama film directed by Vinod Raghavaa and starring Vijith, Joshna Fernando, and Charan Raj.
The film tells the story of Kailash "Kai" and Siva, brothers who are involved in different relationships. Kai works as the right-hand man of don Guruji, while Siva falls in love with Priya, the sister of ACP Durai, who despises Kai and Guruji.
The movie follows the story of a boy who deeply loves a girl, but she harbours wrong perceptions about him, leading to a bitter shock. The film was shot in Chennai and its songs were planned to be filmed in Kerala and North India.
The music was composed by Ishaan Dev in his Tamil debut, with lyrics written by Snehan and Pulamaipithan. The cast includes Vijith as Kailash "Kai", Joshna Fernando, and Charan Raj, while Bose Venkat plays the titular role.
The film received negative reviews and was a box office failure.
