Kadan Vangi Kalyanam is a 1958 Indian Tamil-language satirical comedy film directed by L.V. Prasad.
The film stars R. Ganesh, Savithri, and Jamuna, and was released on September 17, 1958.
The plot revolves around Rao Bahadur Thirumalingam Pillai, a man who spends lavishly on borrowed money, and his simpleton grandfather Zamindar Karunakaram Pillai, who seeks a suitable husband for his granddaughter Manjula. Karunakaram Pillai wishes Manjula to marry Dr. Thiyagarajan, London-returned son of Thirumalingam Pillai, primarily for the assets he would inherit.
Manjula is actually in love with Nagarajan, who reciprocates her feelings but is married to Leela (Savithri), working as a maid-servant in his household. Nagarajan faces complications after being released from jail where he had been incarcerated for revolutionary activities related to the independence struggle.
