Kaaval Nilayam (Police Station) is a 1991 Indian Tamil crime film directed by Senthilnathan and starring Sarathkumar alongside Anandaraj.
The story revolves around Raja, a rowdy who escapes from police custody, and Vijay, an honest new police officer. The narrative also involves their shared past; they trained together along with Aarthi to become police officers. Raja was an orphan while Vijay comes from a police family.
In the film's backstory, Andhavar is revealed as a corrupt politician whose son is involved in drugging and filming young women. This connects back to the death of Vijay's brother, Ravi, who clashed with Andhavar before being killed by him. The central conflict arises when Raja crosses paths again with Vijay.
The film stars Sarathkumar and Anandaraj, and was released on 11 May 1991. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar–Ganesh, featuring lyrics penned by Vaali, Muthulingam, and Piraisoodan.
