Synopsis
Kaadhal Oviyam is a 1982 Tamil romantic drama film directed by Bharathiraja.
The film stars Sunil Kirpalani as Sakthi, an orphan who becomes blind after an accident and spends his days singing devotional songs at the temple. Ponni, played by Radha, falls in love with him despite her mother's opposition to their relationship.
Ponni overhears a misunderstanding where she is mistaken for Sakthi's wife and subsequently breaks this misunderstanding to him, leading to a positive response from Sakthi.
The film was released on 30 April 1982.
