Jaya Gopi is a 1955 Indian film produced in the Telugu language and later dubbed into Tamil. It was directed by B. S. Ranga.
The movie stars V. Nagayya, G. Varalakshmi, Vallam Narasimha Rao, and Jamuna among others.
Jaya Gopi is a remake of the 1953 Hindi film Bhagyawan, which itself had a Marathi version titled Soubhagya. The original story originates from this earlier Hindi picture.
The soundtrack was composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, with lyrics penned by Anisetty Subbarao for the Telugu songs and Ka. Mu. Sheriff for the Tamil songs.
