Janakiraman is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed and co-written by Sundar C.
The film stars Sarathkumar and Nagma, with Rambha, Goundamani, and Manivannan playing supporting roles.
The movie follows the story of Janakiraman and his brother, who are nephews of R. Sundarrajan, a devotee of Hanuman. When Kumarasaamy, another uncle, wants to get his two daughters married to the brothers, he dresses up as Hanuman and advises Janakiraman to get married.
Janakiraman gets confused when four brides arrive at the venue dressed alike in a color combination that was suggested by Kumarasaamy. The film is a commercial success and was released on October 31, 1997, during Diwali.
