Iyakkam

Iyakkam is a 2008 Tamil language action film directed by Sanjay Ram and produced by himself. The film stars Rishi Kumar, Shruthi Raj, and Sujibala in leading roles.

The story follows Nallathambi, a young man who poses as an orphan in a slum in Chennai. He falls in love with Sarasu, whom he saves from a local don, and becomes embroiled in a series of murders involving three high-profile victims.

The police commissioner Muthu Kali takes charge of the case, leading to a non-linear narrative that unfolds as Nallathambi's story is revealed. The film was released on 25 April 2008.
