Isakki is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by M. Ganesan and starring Sharran Kumar and Aashritha.
The film is set against a rural backdrop and revolves around love, parental opposition, and its repercussions on a couple. Nandhini, a teacher from a rich family, rejects the love of a car driver Saran to avoid problems with her family. Despite this, Saran continues to pursue her, leading them closer together.
When Nandhini's boyfriend Mari is released from jail, Saran decides to reveal his true identity as Isakki. The film explores whether Isakki and Nandhini will reunite or not.
The movie was shot in Ooty, Madurai, Dindigul, and Chennai, with Sharran Kumar sporting two distinct looks - a city dweller and a village simpleton. He underwent significant physical changes for the film's village look, losing weight and sitting in the sun.
