Innisai Mazhai is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language romantic musical film directed by Shoba Chandrasekhar and produced by her son Joseph Vijay.
The story revolves around members of a musical troupe: Vijay, Mamta, Michael, and Saravanan. The central conflict involves Michael and Saravanan both being deeply in love with Mamta, while Mamta reciprocates her feelings for Vijay. However, Vijay harbors a deep aversion to love and firmly rejects Mamta's affections.
Distraught by his rejection, Mamta attempts suicide. To resolve the misunderstanding that fuels Vijay's negative view of relationships, his father reveals a significant truth: Vijay was raised without knowing he had a mother, but she is actually Michael's mother. This revelation allows Vijay to understand and accept Mamta's love.
The film stars Neeraj, Parveen, Vivek, and newcomer Sudhakar. It was released on 12 April 1992, and failed at the box office.
